Terms of Use

aiguru.lk is an online learning platform for Sri Lankan students from grade 6 to 13. It provides lessons, an interactive teacher’s board, an AI tutor, quizzes, flashcards, study plans and related tools based on the National Institute of Education (NIE) syllabus, in English, Sinhala and Tamil.

aiguru.lk is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a replacement for the NIE, the Department of Examinations, the Ministry of Education or your school.

Many of our users are under 18. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must read and accept these Terms on your behalf. Parents and guardians are responsible for their child’s use of the Service and for any purchases made on their account.

• Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Accounts are personal. Do not share, sell or transfer your account to anyone else.
• Tell us straight away at support@aiguru.lk if you think your account has been used without your permission.

Lessons, explanations, answers, notes, quizzes and voice narration on the Service are created with the help of artificial intelligence. We work hard to keep them accurate and aligned with the syllabus, but AI can make mistakes. Content is provided for learning support only and should be checked against your textbooks, teachers and official resources. We do not guarantee any particular exam result.

• Some features are free; others need a paid plan or credits. Credits are used up when you generate lessons, ask the tutor, run the board and use other AI features, at the rates shown on the Billing page.
• Paid plans are sold for a fixed period (one month or one year) and are paid in advance. Plans do not renew automatically; you choose whether to buy another period when yours ends.
• Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance. Unused monthly credits do not roll over to the next month. Credits bought as a top-up pack do not expire while your account is active.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and can only be used on the Service.
• Prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices for future purchases; changes never affect a period you have already paid for.
• Payments are processed by our payment partner PayHere. By paying you also agree to PayHere’s terms. We never see or store your full card details.

Refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, abusive, hateful or sexually explicit;
• harass, bully or impersonate anyone, or submit someone else’s personal information;
• try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, scrape or get around the security or credit limits of the Service;
• use bots or automated tools to access the Service, or resell or share access to it;
• copy, republish or sell content from the Service for commercial purposes.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without refund where the breach is serious or repeated.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, illustrations and the content we generate for you, belongs to INVOS GLOBAL (PVT) LTD or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own studies. Syllabus material and teacher’s guides remain the property of their respective owners.

You keep ownership of anything you type, write or say into the Service. You give us permission to store and process it to run and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, subjects or plans from time to time. If we permanently stop offering a paid feature during a period you have paid for, we will offer a fair pro-rata refund.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. INVOS GLOBAL (PVT) LTD is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of data, marks or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under Sri Lankan consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@aiguru.lk. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if we are required to by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes we will tell you on the Service or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
